So since the weather is awful, well it's not that bad, but it's not exactly summery is it? I thought I would brighten up everyone's day with some Pineapples. 

I don't know what it is, but this summer I have been obsessed with pineapples, I think it all started when I saw some pineapple wrapping paper in work and since then it's gone wildly out of control!

So here are some pretty pineapple pictures of some of the wonderful things you can make, buy or wear that are covered in pineapple goodness!

I really love the pineapple pots, they are so cute, but none of my cacti are the right shape for them *sad face*. Also I'm going to share a bargain with you, those pineapple ice trays, well the photo came from the Anthropologie website, although I couldn't find them when I was on there, but I have one that is probably exactly the same, only difference is that is HOT PINK and only only cost £1.50 from Primark, £1 in the sale. I also really want that necklace! I've been so inspire by pineapples that I even tried my own healthy breakfast recipe, sadly it did not quite work out the way I wanted, and really didn't taste as nice as it should have! I'll just have a to try a less healthy option and try and make some pineapple shaped cake-pops (I'm really excited to make my first batch of cake pops, as I bought a mould the other day)!

Everyone loves a bit of washi tape, even my tutors at university love a bit of washi tape, we are always being encouraged to add some to our designs pages to "anchor" everything to the page. 

It's just so versatile, seriously, you can put it on almost anything, and now time and time again, I find myself on eBay trying to hunt down the prettiest tape for the best price, I can't seem to find any at my local craft stores. 

So eventually I gave in and bought some, therefore it is only appropriate that I share some inspiration about what I plan on covering my washi tape in.

I will shortly be sharing my own washi tape DIY, so keep your eyes peeled!

Nude Floaty Vest| Primark| £4

I think these tops are such good value, and there are several different versions; jersey print versions, viscose print versions, plain with floaty trim versions, etc etc. I think they are great and yet this is the first one I've bought, but I wanted a nice light pretty top to wear on holiday and this top fit the bill, at least in our store we have a nude one, navy one, mint one, medium blue one and I'm pretty sure there is a black one. I got a size too big so that it would be really floaty and look great with skinny jeans and heels.

Black Slouchy Vest| Primark| £2

Yes, this a a future DIY, I'm sure it'll be very obvious when I drop the hint of the World Cup, but you shall have to wait to see the finished product. And for only £2 if it goes wrong I can just get another vest top. This vest is called a "slouchy vest" designed to be bigger and make of quite soft and comfortable fabric. Also great for holidays and hanging by the pool.

Set of 9 Earrings| Primark| £1.50

I've had my eye on this set of earrings for a while now, I love the simple shapes. I tend to usually leave my second lobe piercings empty, but when one got infected and started to close up I decided I should probably start wearing earrings in them, so the small circles, squares, triangles etc. look great, but simple.

Sunglasses| Primark| £1

These are fabulous, I had a pair of these before, however I somehow managed to lose them, I still have no idea where they are, I thought there were in my big handbag, no, then in my work locker, no, small handbag, no, bedroom, no. So for a quid, I just bought myself another pair. Last year I had some aviators, however I feel like I'm trying too hard to look cool with them on, and these slightly more vintage themed ones suit my face just as well, so thought I'd try them this year!

Rose Print High Waist Bottoms| ASDA George| £5

Since the beginning of May I've been looking for the perfect affordable bikini that will hide my many sins. So a high waisted bikini seemed like the perfect option. I tried many different websites and shops, but they were either too expensive or didn't fit, so eventually I started looking at supermarkets, and luckily they George had a couple of high waisted bottom options, however I was a little worried as they didn't look that high on the website image, however once I tried them on I discovered they are definitely waist high and hide my horrible red stretch marks; yay!

Rose Print Bikini Top| ASDA George| £8

I love the kind of vintage feel the print has, usually I would have gone for a darker colour, but I had to compromise and the cute little bow on the front reminds we very much of the 50's.

Accessory Hanger| Primark| £2

Have you ever had the problem where you put all of your jewellery in one box and every single one gets entangled with the others, well I definitely was, and I've got slightly back in to wearing necklaces so I though it would be a good idea to get them slightly organised, originally I was going to do it as a DIY, but the stuff I would have needed would cost more than this cool little do-dat. This accessory hanger also comes in black and is covered in a soft felt feel fabric and has 11 hooks, so you can get a fair amount of accessories on there. You can differ what accessories you put on there, I'm considering buying another one for my scarves, oh, decisions, decisions.

Black Bow Ballet Pumps| Primark| £6

Unfortauntly my nice expensive shoes from next are in need of repair, so while in work I had a little mission of finding a nice little pair black shoes that would be cute and comfy in the mean time. And I found these, they are wide fit as well as having some padding for the ball of your foot. However the padding deflated pretty quickly once you start wearing them, but it doesn't make them any less comfy.

Heavenly Lift White Bra| Primark| £5

These are my favourite bras from Primark, although they might not be the prettiest ones that give you a nice little lift (and believe me I need it), although I do have a floral one, which is currently my favourite bra. What I dislike about most Primark bras, especially the cheaper ones is the mesh that is used for the back of the bra, I find it really uncomfortable. However the fabric that the Heavenly Lift bras are made from is extremely soft and I find them incredibly comfy to wear. Big Thumbs up.

Stripy Oversized Top| New Look| £4 (in sale)

Once upon a time when I was skinnier I had a lovely stripy top from Topshop, which no longer fits nicely, and then I saw this and all I could think was I want it, I want it, so I got it, after all it was only £4, however if I had remembered correctly my old top wasn't that flattering on me, and neither is this one, but who doesn't like a good oversized top when they are trying to be comfy. In terms of styling though, it looks good with a pair of skinny jeans and a leather jacket or a nice plum/black/lace (basically anything) skater skirt. I think this top would look really nice with a pair of peachy pink skinny jeans, however that just isn't something I can pull off.

Neon Pocket Mirror| Primark| £1

When I work on the tills at work we have these bowls that are usually filled with some form of accessory, and one day there were these bright pink mirrors, and I wanted one, I wanted one so bad that I was devastated when I came into work two days later and they were gone. But when shopping with my Grandma I managed to find one, which she then bought for me (as well as the heavenly lift bra). Now, neon pink would not usually be my think, but I am strangley attracted to it, I also think it's better than the other pocket mirrors that Primark sell, as the casing seems to be a lot thicker so the mirror is less likely to break and it also has a little magnet to help keep it closed, I guess what of the good things about it being so bright is it'll be easy to find in my bag.

So a couple of months ago, when I first got my lovely storage cube for my little office space, I had no where for bits of make-up and nail varnish, so I just had them kind of lined up, but that wasn't very productive in terms of storage and organising! Now, in the Marks and Spencers sale I saw a lovely gold painted bowl, but when I went back to buy it, it was gone! Dun Dun Duhhhh!

So I thought I'd come up with my own version:

You will need:

A couple of tubes of glitter, colour of your choice

PVA glue

A Bowl

A paintbrush (that you don't mind getting ruined

Came to about £4.50 total.

1.

Mix in your glitter into your PVA glue, how much you will need depends on the size of the bowl, I used about half of the bottle.

(I added water to my mixture, as this is what I used to do when I was little and making things, however I strongly suggest not adding any water, as it makes the mixture run and you end up doing about a thousand coats).

2.

Start applying your glitter PVA mixture to the bowl, depending on how much glitter you put in, your mixture may look a little patchy.

3.

Allow to dry (I was rather impatient and got a hair dryer on it). 

4. 

Add another layer of mixture and allow to dry, repeat process until the dried version doesn't look quite so patchy.

5.

Once completely dried, fill with whatever you are trying to tidy away and Voila!

(Mine unfortunately came out a little patchy because I ran out of mixture, but I really love the effect.)

This bowl may be a very simple tutorial, but it adds a bit of sparkle to my cube, which is also filled with all my lovely expensive design books.

While I was sat at my sewing machine last night, sewing together parts of my one of my bodices for my final outcomes of my final major project, I was taking pins out as I sewed along and I was just putting them at the side of my on the table in a pile. Which obviously isn't safe; imagine if we had an earthquake, they'd just go everywhere, not that we really get earthquakes here, but people still sew and use pins in countries that are unfortunate enough to suffer from earthquakes. So anyway, this all got me thinking that I seriously need a pin cushion! I don't know how I've survived so long without one, I guess I haven't really had time to make one, and when I've tried to buy them they only ones I could find were the ones that look like a tomato, and I'm sorry but I don't want a tomato pin cushion, I want cute as well as practicality and a tomato just does not cut it!

So I went exploring on Pinterest, yay! And found a couple of cute DIYs to share with the world!

I think they are all adorable, I especially like the embroidery hoop one, but that means I have to buy another embroidery hoop and I am somewhat lacking money (especially as I still need to make regular cushions!).

I was very flattered when I was contacted about being part of the Passion For Fashion blogger competition.

For the chance to win a wardrobe worth £1000, you must create 5 outfits from some of your favourite shops, for £200 or less.

However the closing date was Tuesday 25th, so unfortunately I can't enter, but I started putting the outfits together so I thought I might as well share them with you all!

(But I only got around to doing two of them; I know I suck)

This is a classical example of my day-to-day attire, although my boots are knee high; yay! Because what is as comfy but still incredibly stylish as skinnies, a massive jumper and boots, I ask? And the answer is pretty much nothing, unless you exchange the massive jumper for one that is slightly longer and a good pair of leggings.

Although these jeans are £25, Dorothy Perkins (at the moment anyway) have a great 2 pairs for £25 deal, which is how I stocked up for winter, I have a classical blue pair (which are the comfiest jeans I have ever owned) and a Black Pair, which of course look sexy!

Miss Selfridge is also one of my favourite shops, although the deals online aren't quite as good, when you actually go to a sale you can find some real bargains, however the sizes are slightly odd, most of my clothes from there are a size 6 (English Size Wise) and usually I'm a 10, so you know, that's a little bizarre.

(This could also be classes as party wear)

I absolutely love the colour of this outfit, burgundy is one of my Autumn/Winter must haves this year, it is just such a lovely deep colour. And although I love this outfit and I'm rather proud of my styling, I couldn't actually wear this myself, because I just do not have the legs for playsuits, I am working in it slowly, but it won't happen anytime soon! So because I can not wear playsuits, I keep my eyes open looking for wonderful dresses and let me tell you they have some lovely burgundy ones at Topshop, although I think most aren't included on the website, which makes me sad. Although Topshop can be expensive at times, it does have some extremely good sales, most of my wardrobe is made up of sale items from Topshop, not that I admit they are sale items, because people don't need to know I am seriously lacking in the money department, unless it was an amazing bargain, in which I will tell everyone!

Urban Outfitters- this is one of my favourite shops of all time, although I don't own much from here unless I'm treating myself, it really is fantastic, as well as having awesome sales they have some of the most stylish pieces of clothing I have ever seen. As well as selling great accessories and some really funny books (Anyone ever played 'Never Have I Ever'? Ever get stuck on what to ask? Well they have a great book for that!). UO also provides a newsletter with some great offers and you get an email nearly every/every other day! It's fab! Their latest offer was free delivery, with no promo code, aren't they generous! I got my latest bag from there, which is used for college every single day. It was in the sale for £20 down from £48, I think that's pretty damn good and I really love the bag, especially now that I've accessorised it with a scarf and Eiffel Tower key ring!

Plus I'm currently (like as I'm writing this) listening to their free music service, which is awesome and has some great alternative music.
