Moroccan Inspiration

This post is dedicated to Kerry. If anyone saw the photos from the Moroccan market you may remember that my friend Kerry is considering decorating her living room in a Moroccan style, so I thought I would share some of the photos I've shown her and maybe some of you may want to give some advice or share some ideas.
( you all gave me such good advice when I shared ideas for my desk wall that I thought that some of you may have some great ideas for this).
Hopefully we can get a bit more inspiration before our trip to Ikea!

(I really enjoying doing these types of posts, looking at the amazing inspirational work of others and being able to gain new ideas, plus I love interior design, it was an option that I considered, but I prefer clothes!)
I love all the bright colours of Moroccan decor and all the pattern. But my favourite aspect would have to be the use of fabric, for instance in the bedroom image I love the canopies over the bed frame. And the multiple fabrics draped over the table.
However my favourite image would have to be the blue and white living room, although it may not be traditionally Moroccan, I think the use of white adds more lightness to the room and the turquoise is just lovely!
If anyone was doing their bedroom one idea I had was to have a brass frame headboard on your bed and intertwine colourful fabrics within in, possibly have some of them draping, as well as cushions with Moroccan patterns on them!
So remember, each day, live a little, laugh a little and love a little. ♥
