A Style for Chilly Weather...

Although I don't like to admit it just Summer is almost over, in fact I'm going to a new college to do my Foundation Diploma in 3 weeks (today). How scary. And as September and October approach the weather will begin getting colder, but that doesn't mean that style gets any less important.
So while bored today, I started doodling, not necessarily trying to do fashion illustrations, just whatever was at the forefront of my mind, which just happened to be an Autumn appropriate outfit!

Looking at the illustration I decided I really like this kind of outfit. Therefore I thought I'd see what is currently out there that I could create this outfit with.
1. Miso Pointelle Cardigan by Republic
2. Burgandy Lace Zip Back Top by Topshop
3. Fine Pleated Tulle Skirt by Zara
4. Wine Lace Trim Ankle Socks by Topshop
5. Lace-up Heeled Ankle Boots by La Redoute
I'm quite pleased with what I've found in relation to the original drawing. Although the boots are not the same, depending on how long the skirt is, I reckon that the boots with a tiny bit of the sock showing would look quite cute. Also I desperately want a wooly cardigan, they just look so comfy but still stylish.
Plus I already have some similar boots so I won't have to get new ones (although they are slightly uncomfortable).
Has anyone else started thinking about their autumn wardrobe?

Noooooo! That makes me genuinely sad, I feel naked without perfume.
DeleteYeah, I never realised how much I liked wearing it until I couldn't, it's also a pain on buses because my breathing gets a bit messed up when someone with strong perfume gets on.
